SHARMAL

SHARMAL is a Kuwaiti animated feature that blends mystery, action, comedy, technology, cybercrime, and illusion into a fast-paced cinematic adventure.

Set in the heart of Kuwait, the story begins with the return of Sharmal, the region's most celebrated illusionist, who stages a spectacular comeback performance while secretly operating behind a sophisticated criminal scheme targeting the country's data.

The operation unfolds through a series of increasingly ambitious missions, moving from a hotel to a police station and ultimately toward the airport.

Standing in Sharmal's way is Nawaf, a teenage technology prodigy who joins forces with Officer Salem to uncover the conspiracy and protect his family.

Their investigation leads them to Layla, Sharmal's mysterious technical assistant. At first, she appears to be one of the weaker links within the operation, but the deeper Nawaf and Salem investigate, the more they discover that appearances can be dangerously misleading.

As digital hacking, elaborate illusions, high-stakes chases, and unexpected revelations collide, the story develops into a battle between exceptional minds.

But SHARMAL is not simply about who possesses the better technology. At the center of the conflict is a deeper question: can you truly defeat an opponent without understanding the person behind the screen?

The film builds toward a major confrontation at the airport, where layers of deception begin to unravel. Yet even when the audience believes the mystery has been solved, another illusion may still be hiding underneath.
